The New Forest has been voted the best national park in Europe and 10th best in the world in Tripadvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Awards for Destinations.
Michael Clitheroe, General Manager at the 4-star Balmer Lawn Hotel, in Brockenhurst, and Chair of the New Forest Hotels group commented “I am delighted to hear the news that the New Forest has been voted the No.1 National Park in Europe in the 2022 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for Destinations. As well as earning the coveted top spot for National Parks in Europe, the New Forest also came 10th in the world, ahead of global big hitters including Banff National Park in Canada and the Grand Canyon National Park in the United States.
