Taking Wales Stateside for IMEX America 2023

This October, the award-winning International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) and The Celtic Collection are heading to Las Vegas to exhibit at IMEX America (17 – 19 October) for the first time.

Both organisations, which will be exhibiting on the Meet In Wales stand (Bayside E2316), will be promoting their extensive meetings and events and corporate incentive offering to the North American market.

Located in Newport, South Wales, ICC Wales is a joint venture between The Celtic Manor Resort and Welsh Government. It can accommodate more than 5,000 delegates and includes a 4,000sqm pillar-free main hall, a 1,500-seated auditorium, 15 flexible meeting rooms, a double-height glass atrium with views of the surrounding Coldra Woods and a 2,500sqm outdoor plaza.

Exhibiting alongside ICC Wales is The Celtic Collection, a prestigious family of experience-focused UK business and leisure destinations. Born from the legacy of the world-renowned Celtic Manor Resort, the group’s flagship destination situated in the beautiful Usk Valley at the gateway to South Wales, the Celtic Collection brings together premium accommodation with exemplary service and world-class facilities.

ICC Wales secured the ICCA Best Marketing Award in 2022 and the venue team have been making waves to educate the global business events sector and raise awareness of important topics including Martyn’s Law and the social and economic impact of events.

The chic Parkgate Hotel opened in 2021 in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union. The Parkgate is situated in an original post office heritage building, adjacent to Principality Stadium in the heart of Cardiff, South Wales. One of the largest event spaces in the city, it can hold up to 432 people in the banqueting suite. There are 170 bedrooms as well as a bar, elegant restaurant and luxurious spa.
