RCP London Events showcases AV innovation in historic settings at AV Cultural Forum Event

RCP London Events hosted the AV Cultural Forum (AVCF) welcoming audiovisual (AV) professionals from across the UK’s heritage and cultural sectors for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.

The AV Cultural Forum brings together AV professionals working within museums, galleries and cultural institutions to exchange ideas, share expertise and address common industry challenges. Yesterday’s event sparked discussion around evolving technologies and their role in storytelling and audience engagement.

The event demonstrated how advanced AV solutions can be seamlessly integrated into historically significant institutions. Attendees were also given insight into how RCP London Events balances preservation with innovation, delivering high-impact, modern event experiences within a 500-year legacy.

Hosted by Ben Pain, Head of Audio Visual Resources and Francis Burrows, AV Sales and Production Manager, the session explored the practical realities of delivering AV at scale in a heritage environment, from infrastructure and design to client experience and production delivery.

Francis Burrows says: “Hosting the AV Cultural Forum was a chance to share how we’ve evolved our sales and innovation approach over the past three years, while learning from peers across the sector. In heritage venues, there’s a real opportunity to use AV as a storytelling tool, one that brings architecture and client messages to life. At RCP London Events, we believe there are no constraints, only the imagination you bring and by aligning creativity with the right technology, we’re able to deliver immersive, bespoke experiences that resonate long after the event has finished.”

The event builds on a strong programme of AVCF activity in 2026 and reinforces the Royal College of Physicians’ position at the forefront of AV delivery within heritage venues.
