ICE, one of the most influential communities in the global events industry, has today announced a rebrand to become the International Corporate Events Network, marking a major new chapter in the organisation’s evolution.
The move reflects more than a new brand, but a sharpening of purpose and ambition as the organisation continues to go from strength to strength, now represented in three regions. From its origins as ICE, the organisation has grown into a powerful global platform for senior in-house corporate event leaders.
Now, as the International Corporate Events Network, the organisation is entering its next phase of growth, expanding its platform, programmes and international footprint to better serve corporate event leaders around the world. The organisation continues to position itself as a connective layer for the industry, breaking down silos, removing barriers to knowledge-sharing, and creating a space where intelligence, peer insight and real-world experience combine to drive better decisions and stronger strategic impact.
Anita Howard, Founder and CEO of the International Corporate Events Network, said: “ICE is, and always will be, about community first. What’s changed is the scale, the ambition, and the responsibility that comes with the platform we’ve built. The International Corporate Events Network is a reflection of who we’ve become, a global alliance of senior corporate event leaders who want to learn from each other, challenge each other, and raise the standard of what our industry delivers.
To support this growth, the International Corporate Events Network has also announced the appointment of Ben Goedegebuure, former Chief Global Strategy Officer at Maritz, as a Non-Executive Director. Ben brings deep expertise in global event strategy, data-led intelligence and enterprise-level programmes, and will play a key role in shaping the insight and intelligence framework that underpins the organisation’s future direction.
Anita added: “Ben has been a massive part of shaping who we are as an organisation. He’s got a strategic and creative brain, and an understanding of the world events that we are in right now, and how we, as an organisation, can be best placed to help navigate it. We’re thrilled to have him on our top table.”
The appointment reinforces the International Corporate Events Network’s commitment to building an independent, intelligence-led community, guided by experienced industry leaders and focused on long-term value for the corporate events community.
“This isn’t about rebranding for the sake of it,” concluded Anita. “It’s about building something more connected, more intelligent, and more useful for the people who shape this awesome industry.”
