Department for Business and Trade opens Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards for 2024

The Department for Business and Trade has opened its Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards 2024 for entries, to recognise and celebrate the global trading success of small businesses from across the UK.

The Awards, aimed at UK SMEs (with less than 250 staff) who trade internationally, covers ten industry categories which will be judged by a panel comprised of two DBT sector leads and independent panellist Marco Forgione, Director General at the Institute of Export & International Trade.

Award categories include:

  • Consultancy & Professional Services
  • Creative Industries
  • Education & EdTech
  • Financial Services & FinTech
  • Healthcare
  • Infrastructure & Engineering
  • Low Carbon Energy
  • Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing & Construction
  • Retail & Consumer Goods

Winners will receive a 2024 winner’s trophy, certificate, and digital badge, as well as a year’s free membership to the Institute of Exports and International Trade (IoEIT). They will also have the opportunity to attend a winners’ reception in Parliament, alongside a professional photoshoot extensive promotion across DBT channels.
