Leading corporate events agency appoints new head of sales and business development to accelerate growth

Sheffield-based events specialist Wildfire has expanded its leadership team by appointing Ian Brown as its new head of sales and business development.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) industry, Ian will lead Wildfire’s sales team, driving revenue growth and shaping the agency’s sales strategy.

The appointment comes after the recent announcement that Nathan Angus has taken over as CEO, showing a real strength forming in their senior leadership team. 

Wildfire offers one of the widest ranges of corporate event experiences, with one of Europe’s largest collections of party props and equipment, and Ian said he was drawn to the company’s ambitious vision set out by CEO Nathan.

Ian plans to take a hands-on, player-manager approach, combining strategic leadership with active involvement in sales to support the team and drive continued growth.
