The Science Museum in South Kensington successfully delivered a triple corporate conference day, welcoming three major clients across its event spaces on Thursday 30 April. The programme spanned simultaneous daytime conferences and a daytime-to-evening transition, showcasing the venue’s operational expertise and flexibility.
Across the museum, three distinct corporate conferences took place, each with its own audience profile, technical requirements and delivery teams.
The largest programme of the day saw AVANT host a daytime conference using IMAX: The Ronson Theatre and Flight. Following the daytime sessions, guests moved to Wonderlab for a drinks reception, while Flight was fully turned around during the day to transform from a standing lunch set-up into a seated dinner. Catering was delivered by Social Pantry, with Equip supporting technical production.
Running alongside this, Hornet Security hosted a daytime conference in the Smith Centre, supported by catering partner Benugo and technical supplier White Light. The event made use of the venue’s flexible layout, built-in AV and courtyard to support a full day conference programme.
Completing the triple event day, a private client hosted a daytime conference in Illuminate, making use of the contemporary, light filled setting and advanced production capabilities.
Over 450 delegates were hosted across the events, with multiple spaces operating concurrently and transitioning throughout the day. The delivery highlighted the events team’s ability to manage logistically complex schedules, adapt spaces between uses, and support a wide range of corporate event formats.
This marked the museum’s second triple corporate event delivery in the past six months, underlining its capacity to comfortably accommodate multiple corporate clients on the same day.
