Vue, the UK’s number one cinema operator, is currently in the process of introducing EPIC by Vue across its venues in the UK and Ireland. EPIC brings together next generation ‘HDR by BARCO’ laser projectors and three-dimensional Dolby Atmos sound on Vue’s biggest screens.
EPIC is a premium large format screen that features advanced light-steering technology to deliver up to six times the brightness than that of a standard cinema screen. Accompanied by 64 channel Dolby Atmos, EPIC creates a fully immersive audio experience that surrounds the audience.
National conference and events manager Simona Negretto said “this new technology will transform meetings and training sessions making them even more compelling and captivating. Presentations will be clearer and brighter on larger screens with 3D sound, giving greater impact in delivering corporate messages to delegates.”
Venues that currently have EPIC screens include Nottingham Cornerhouse, Castleford, London West End, Islington, Bristol Cribbs, Leeds Kirkstall Road and Cheshire Oaks. The rollout will continue into 2026.
Most Vue venues have private reception areas capable of hosting breaks and lunch and offer a range of listed and local caterers to choose from. Plus, organisers can utilise the digital signage outside each screen for corporate branding at no extra cost.
