Leading conference, events and exhibition centre, The QEII Centre, has revealed its biggest growth sector this year as AI-related events, representing a brand-new revenue stream for the business.
Reflecting AI’s rise from niche technology topic to boardroom priority, the venue has reported a year-on-year increase in AI events of 25 per cent since hosting its first event of this type, AI UK 24 for Turing Innovations Limited, in 2024.
AI UK returned to The QEII Centre in 2025 along with several other AI events including the Global AI Conference 2025 for The Royal College of Radiologists, the Legal Business AI Summit 2025, and the GenAI London Conference – the diverse array of sectors illustrating AI’s reach into nearly every industry.
A further five AI events took place in 2026, with an additional two AI events confirmed for next year. Taken together, the AI events booked at the venue are expected to attract almost 24,000 delegates.

At the same time, it’s also transforming the events industry itself. We expect demand for AI-focused events to continue to grow, both in the number of events being launched and the breadth of industries involved.”
