Thomas Morgan, Head of Venues and Event Delivery at 66 Portland Place, comments: “We’re really excited to be launching this exclusive Tea Masterclass at 66 Portland Place in partnership with London Tea Exchange. The venue has a special heritage and significance as a London landmark which ties in well with the history and traditions around the premium teas that Aliur will be guiding guests through. We’re excited to be opening the venue up for this experience and hope it will be the first of many masterclasses to come.”

Sheikh Aliur Rahman at London Tea Exchange, adds: “London Tea Exchange has one of the world’s largest collections of rare and fine teas. Having been established as a business by King Charles II in 1679, London Tea Exchange ran the tea auction house in London for over 300 years and has a rich history in and understanding of tea. We are delighted to be partnering with 66 Portland Place for this very special experience, to shed some light on some of the mysteries of tea and to share some very special teas, many of which have only ever previously been enjoyed in Royal households.”
