Peachy Playhouse – WEST END STARS ARE AMONG THE NEW LINEUP OF ENTERTAINMENT!

Grab Your popcorn for Peachy Playhouse’ Latest Outdoor Cinema and Live Entertainment Line-Up!

Guildford, Surrey, 6th August 2020 – Peachy Playhouse, Surrey’s drive-in live music, theatre and cinema festival which offers safe socially distanced events has released its latest cinema line up…and what a line-up it is!

The fun begins on Friday 21st August where families and friends can sing along to Hairspray the Musical featuring west end stars.

Philip French, Managing Director at Peachy Productions, said: “Cinema tickets are now live and selling fast as so many of us have missed that cinema experience.

“Peachy Playhouse has provided the perfect way for lovers of the arts – both film and theatre – to fill that void while staying safe and socially distanced. The films and entertainment can be viewed from your own gardens, with food and drink being served directly to you or at previously booked (and socially distanced) tables in the alfresco dining area, located next to the bar.”

Located in the grounds of Loseley Park, theatre and cinema-goers will be able to drive into their own cordoned off outdoor garden space, two meters apart from their neighbours, fulfilling social distancing needs yet enabling space for people to get out of the cars and enjoy being outside if they want to.

The latest theatre line-up not only includes some fantastic movies for all the family, but there will also be a West End Meets Disney extravaganza with stars from the top musicals including Lauren and Hannah Varnham (who have played Scaramouche and Meat in the stage show ‘We Will Rock You’), Matt Croke (Aladdin in ‘Disney’s Aladdin’ stage show in the West End) and Channel 5’s Milkshake’s David Ribi.

David is not only a children’s TV presenter, but he has also worked as a musical director in New York and Pennsylvania on productions of High School Musical, Godspell and Annie Get Your Gun and says he is very excited to be “getting his Disney on in this concert! Hakuna Matata!”

As Peachy Playhouse is a festival that was born out of the need to uplift and bring joy to Surrey due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the cinema listings and entertainment schedule have been chosen carefully so that there is something for everyone. The listings include Monsters Inc, Sonic the Hedgehog, Bohemian Rhapsody, Frozen, The Goonies and The Bodyguard, to name a few.

At the same time as bringing joy to Surrey, the festival is also supporting local businesses and the arts and entertainment industry who have been hit hard by the Coronavirus pandemic.

As well as this, the festival has partnered with the Charity, Spread A Smile, which is the UK registered charity that supports seriously and terminally ill children.
