PAUL COSTELLOE’S SHOW ‘IL GIARDINO’ RECEIVES HIGH ACCOLADE AT THE LINDLEY HALL

Opening London Fashion Week to a packed house, Paul Costelloe’s Spring Summer ’24 collection, inspired by his childhood summers in Ireland, received critical acclaim from the British and Irish media. In notable attendance was iconic shoe designer Jimmy Choo, Caroline Rush from the British Fashion Council, plus the cast of Made in Chelsea and top fashion bloggers.

The setting was the Finzi-Contini’s garden in Ferrara, Italy in high summer, resplendent in blooms, laughter and the gentle sounds of sport being played.

Paul Costelloe said “The Lindley Hall was the perfect venue. The sun was streaming through the glass roof and with its clean white interior and architectural details, we could have been in a vast conservatory.”

Striped linens in sky blues formed into dresses and unstructured jackets introduced the show against a bespoke hand-drawn backdrop of the garden, created by the Costelloe team. Cotton knitwear with statement V’s were paired with high waisted, wide leg linen trousers in naturals and prints whilst summer weight jackets and swing coats were paired with lace trousers. Marble effect silks and floral party dresses in complementary blues were a glorious finale.

Diane Worcester, venue sales manager said, “it was an honour to have Paul Costelloe and his team here for their 38th runway show, they were a pleasure to work with.”
