On Event Production Co., the Castle Donington-based production and scenic fabrication specialist, has opened a new purpose-built scenic fabrication facility following significant investment in its Midlands operation. The new hub increases capacity, enhances quality control and enables the team to support a growing portfolio of exhibition, experiential, automotive, pharmaceutical and technology projects for agencies and brands across the UK.
On Event Production Co. opened its scenic department in 2014 in response to growing demand for a single touchpoint that brought scenic build and technical production together with full control over quality, timelines and cost. The successful delivery of event sets and scenery, exhibitions and brand activations has driven continued growth in both space and resources, creating the need to move from the current shared warehouse into dedicated, purpose-designed facilities.
Two neighbouring units on the same industrial estate have now been stripped out and transformed into a dedicated scenic fabrication hub. The new facility includes extensive build space for large-scale projects, supported by purpose-built processes, digital technology for project tracking and dedicated facilities such as CNC machining and a spray booth. Offices, a meeting room and welfare areas complete the space, creating a modern, self-contained home for the scenic team.
The additional space allows On Event Production Co. to deliver pre-event builds for full exhibition stands and larger experiential environments in-house, giving clients the opportunity to walk through, test and sign off projects before they go on site. The layout is designed to improve efficiency, strengthen cost management and maintain tighter control over quality, health and safety and finishing standards, while supporting rapid turnaround requirements.
The expansion follows sustained growth across exhibition, experiential and roadshow programmes delivered for agency and brand partners. Recent work includes designing and building touring roadshow assets for a global technology brand, enabling product experts to bring new handset features to life in call centres and retail environments across the UK.
