Ellenborough Park Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Refurbishment.

Steeped in history and boasting 90 acres of glorious grounds, Ellenborough Park is nestled between the Cotswolds’ highest point and the gallops of Cheltenham Racecourse. The sumptuous manor house has been lovingly restored to its original five-star glory and is now home to laid-back dining experiences, a soul-soothing spa and rooms brimming with country house character.

If you are looking for a corporate venue, the hotels 4 meeting rooms offer a variety of options for up to 120 delegates. The 90 acres are perfect for team building and with 61 bedrooms it’s a popular option for exclusive uses.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, all 61 bedrooms are being given an affectionate refresh with lavish fabrics, elegant wall coverings, plush carpets, and country chic furnishings. Each room is brimming with individuality and personality, thanks to the loving creations by the local and talented designer, Ilze Reinke.

The masterful designs feature unique themes to beautifully capture a graceful homeliness, each room telling a different story with Cotswold comfort at heart.

Taking an environmentally sensitive approach, Reinke’s starting point for each bedroom is something existing – a chair, wallpaper, or a colour, allowing her to keep and build upon existing elements with new textures, tones and complimentary fabrics. The end result is a bedroom with a breath of fresh air, where modern luxuries and indulgence meet our steeping history.

The Horse Box Brasserie has also undergone a huge transformation. The new colour schemes and soft leather seating compliments tweed fabrics and tartan flooring. Boasting an open fireplace, cosy corners, and a great ambiance.

Every new bedroom tells a different story with a chic country comfort. Cotswold-appropriate colour-scheme names include Blossom, Wildflower, Countryside, Tudor, Chrysanthemum, Gingham and Rustic. Due to be completed by March 2023, ready for the Cheltenham Gold Cup Race Festival, a key date for the team at Ellenborough when a loyal racing guestlist will return.
