Design Museum adds Clink Events to its accredited supplier list

The Design Museum has announced that event caterer Clink Events has joined its list of accredited suppliers following a competitive accreditation process.

Clink Events provides bespoke catering beyond the walls of prison and provides its students in training the opportunity to gain experience in event catering. Food is prepared on site at HMP Downview by students training towards gaining their level 1 and 2 NVQ in Professional Cookery and overseen by a team of event professionals. All profits generated by Clink Events go directly to the Clink Charity to further their work in reducing reoffending.

Having Clink Events on the accredited suppliers list gives clients another opportunity to reinforce their corporate social responsibility by supporting the training and rehabilitation of serving prisoners.

Livia Puggini, Head of Commercial Hire & Events at the Design Museum, comments: “We are so thrilled to have Clink Events joining our list of accredited suppliers at the museum. Throughout the accreditation process, the Clink team impressed us with their creativity, passion, and their commitment to their important work. We know that they will be a huge hit with our clients, and we cannot wait to start working together!”

Jonny Whitfield , MD of Clink Events, adds: “We are incredibly excited to have been added to the Design Museum accredited supplier list and are looking forward to working closely with the museum team and catering at this amazing venue. The Design Museum team are very engaged with the training and support we offer our students, and their values align closely with the ethos of our charity.”

The Design Museum team works with a high-quality list of suppliers to create standout events end experiences. Clink Events joins By Word of Mouth, Jimmy Garcia Catering and Rocket Food as an accredited catering supplier at the museum.
