Joanne Taylor-Stagg is joining Exclusive Collection as General Manager at Pennyhill Park. Reporting to David Connell, Group Director of Operations, Joanne will oversee a team of over 240 people and will drive Pennyhill Park’s commitment to being a B Corp, while also raising its profile as a go to destination and employer of choice.
Joanne brings extensive experience from 5-star hotels including The Atheneum Hotel and Residences where she was awarded Manager of the Year at the 2021 Cateys, The Capital Hotel and The Trafalgar. She started her career in hotels in Johannesburg as part of a graduate management programme and is known for transforming hotel culture and operations with her people-first approach, with a keen focus on mentoring and developing aspiring female talent.
Pennyhill Park is recognised for its dining experiences including its Michelin star restaurant Latymer, hyper-local dining in Hillfield and a 45,000 sq.ft spa. Home to England RFU Training centre, the hotel has a reputation for hosting elite performers and is a regular choice amongst business meeting and event planners who are drawn to the high-performance energy.
