In an industry flooded with predictable performances, Euphonica is setting a new standard in live entertainment. The London-based music agency is developing a select portfolio of bespoke, high-concept performances – crafted in collaboration with some of the UK’s most in-demand musicians. Available under the Euphonica banner, these acts reflect the agency’s commitment to pushing creative boundaries in event entertainment.
“At Euphonica, we saw a gap in the market,” says Dan, Euphonica’s Founder, “Most agencies pull from the same talent pool. We wanted to offer something genuinely different – acts that don’t just fill a dancefloor but create a lasting impression.”
These exclusive acts aren’t off-the-shelf options. Each one is a product of deep collaboration between Euphonica and a curated network of artists, bandleaders, and musical directors. The result is a series of truly unique lineups, featuring original arrangements, custom repertoires, and performance concepts tailored to high-end private and corporate events.
Rather than repurposing the same band for multiple genres, each act is designed around a specific sound, vibe, or aesthetic – making every performance feel intentional and fresh. Artists involved have a heightened sense of ownership, raising the bar on preparation and delivery. For clients, this means tighter sets, more dynamic staging, and stronger audience connection.
A standout example from Euphonica’s exclusive lineup is Sunship Orchestra, co-created with acclaimed string arranger Dan Oates, whose credits include Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. The act captures Euphonica’s core values: originality, precision, and style.
Sunship Orchestra delivers a curated blend of ’90s dance music, designed with a clear musical identity rather than a “play-everything” approach. The name itself is a nod to UK garage influences (“Sunship”) and the expansive, orchestrated feel of its live format (“Orchestra”).
At its foundation, Sunship is a five-piece DJ-live ensemble led by Ellie, a rare hybrid performer who sings and DJs simultaneously. Flanked by a horn duo and a string duo, the group can scale up to a full 12-piece showstopper or scale down for intimate sets – offering unmatched flexibility for events of all sizes.
Unlike many DJ-live bands, Sunship doesn’t rely on improvisation. Every performance is fully arranged and rehearsed, with bespoke horn and string lines woven around a carefully curated setlist. The result is a show that feels as refined as it is energising.
Sunship Orchestra’s adaptability was on full display during a standout performance at Tate Modern. In the venue’s iconic Turbine Hall, they provided music for every phase of a major corporate event – beginning with a relaxed horn duo at the drinks reception, transitioning to a chilled three-piece lounge set over dinner, and culminating in a nine-piece party finale that had guests on their feet.
“The feedback was unanimous,” says Dan “The client was thrilled, the guests were energised, and the memory stuck.”
Other appearances include headline sets at Ascot, a residency at The Arts Club, and performances at the Natural History Museum – with every booking reinforcing the same message: this is an act that delivers.
From matching pink bomber jackets to Ellie’s compelling presence as a singing DJ, Sunship is as stylish as it is skilled. Their performances are world-class, immersive, and impossible to ignore.
Every Euphonica collaboration starts with a conversation. The team takes time to understand the event’s energy, goals, and audience before recommending or building the perfect musical solution. Clients can also opt for branded visuals, custom colourways, or bespoke arrangements – making each performance truly their own.
“At Euphonica, we don’t see entertainment as an add-on,” says Dan “It’s the heart of the experience. It sets the tone for everything else. That’s why we’re constantly scouting talent, tracking trends, and pushing creative boundaries – so our clients aren’t following the crowd, they’re leading it.”
