Iconic London events venue, Church House Westminster, has introduced Christmas carol services to its new festive events collection, offering event organisers an alternative to the traditional corporate Christmas party, and a festive way to extend a conference or meeting day into a seasonal celebration.
Held in reception areas before the event, the carol service, accompanied by the traditional mulled wine and mince pies, give the guests a moment of shared joy and reflection at the end of a demanding year, without adding another large-scale evening event to an already busy December diary.
The carol services sit alongside this year’s Christmas package at the Grade II listed Westminster venue, which includes festive seated dinners for up to 372 guests in the Assembly Hall and standing receptions for up to 250 in the Hoare Memorial Hall.
Festive celebrations as an extension of the business day
The launch responds to a shift Church House recorded across its 2025 festive season, with more organisers extending their business event with a networking festive drinks reception of dinner.
With teams increasingly dispersed, Church House found that organisers are looking to maximise the value of getting people into one room. Rather than programming a separate festive event, clients are continuing conference days into post-event drinks receptions, smaller festive dinners or, now, a carol service.

Packages and catering
The 2026 festive seated dinner package in The Assembly Hall includes room hire, a Prosecco reception, a three-course menu from catering partner Searcys, two hours of unlimited house wine, Prosecco, beer and soft drinks, and tea, coffee, mince pies and festive petit fours. Prices for this package start at £110+VAT per person with a minimum of 100 guests required. The standing reception package includes room hire, drinks, three canapés and three bowl dishes. Prices start from £89+VAT per person for a minimum of 100 guests. Optional upgrades across both include Champagne receptions, themed cocktails, additional canapés and late-night food.
Searcys creates the seasonal menus using locally sourced ingredients, with tasting sessions available ahead of the event and a full range of dietary requirements accommodated.
Rather than insisting on a fixed theme, Church House’s upgraded in-house AV set-up allows organisations to create a festive atmosphere using their own branding and colours.
