Entries open for the 2027 beam Awards

beam has officially opened entries for the 2027 beam Awards, celebrating the people, leadership and partnerships making a difference across the business events, accommodation and meetings industry.

Following the introduction of the expanded awards in 2026, this year’s programme features six categories:

  • Agency Leader of the Year
  • General Manager of the Year
  • Collaboration of the Year
  • Spirit of beam
  • Chris Peacock Emerging Talent
  • Account Manager of the Year

The Spirit of beam Award is exclusively open to beam members and recognises an individual who embodies the association’s values and actively supports its community. Entries for all other categories are open across the wider industry, giving organisations the opportunity to recognise the people and partnerships whose work deserves to be celebrated.

David Tremmil, Chair of beam, said:

“The beam Awards are about recognising the people who make our industry what it is. Whether they are leading a business, building strong client relationships, developing their career or bringing organisations together, we want to hear the stories of those making a genuine difference.

“We know there is some brilliant work happening across our industry, often behind the scenes, and these awards give us the opportunity to put those achievements in the spotlight. I would encourage everyone to think about the people and partnerships around them and submit an entry.”

Entries will be reviewed by a panel of beam and guest judges representing associations and leading industry publications.

The beam judging panel comprises David Tremmil, Linden Beattie, Katie Niland, Julie Shorrock, Ben Hull and Louisa Watson.

They will be joined by guest judges Bev Fearis of The Business Travel Magazine; Paul Harvey of M&IT Magazine; Paul Colston of Mash Media; Kizzy Allot of Event Industry News; Dan Bearpark of Prestige Magazine; Alistair Turner of Eight PR; Danny Yates of LGH Hotels Management; Jason Gutteridge of Venue Directory; Andrew Clarke of the BTA; Andrew Perolls of Greengage; and Andrew Deakin of Conference Care.

Entries close on 26 October 2026, with the winners announced at the beam Gala Dinner on 22 January 2027 at The Tower Hotel, London.
