Venue Focus: Royal Ascot

In our Queen’s 90th birthday year it would only be fitting that we would have an article on the Royal Ascot, but the truth is this is a consistent big player and a legend in the events industry. This year we see the return of double Michelin Starred Philip Howard after a successful five day stint last year. “Last year the feedback from racegoers who ate in his restaurant was incredible. He really is back by popular demand” says Juliet Slot, Commercial Director of Ascot. They are joined by Gemma Amor who has been a chef at Ascot for 20 years as they lead a team of 300 chefs to ensure each and every plate is perfect.

This week will see some of the world’s finest horses compete for more than £5.5 million in prize money in front of her Royal Highness, the Queen of England who has attended each and every time during her reign.
